SUMMER LIVING TAKING INTERIORS OUTDOORS

SUMMER LIVING TAKING INTERIORS OUTDOORS

Summer has arrived in all it's glory and we are making the most of it while it lasts taking Interiors outdoors!

Our team took to the outdoors for an impromptu photo shoot in the picturesque setting of Boyne Hill House. A stunning backdrop to our new interior accessories inspiring us to go all out this summer.

Picnics and outdoor dining are all the rage especially as we are still living under Covid restrictions. Left with little choice but to socialise with friends and family in the fresh air, the recent warm weather has seen us happily embrace this new concept of outdoor living.

Gardens across Ireland have had more makeovers in the last few weeks than they have had in years. There are many ways to give your outdoor space an instant lift without the cost of a landscape expert and in as little time as it takes to light up the BBQ!

We've popped a few of our top tips for sprucing up your garden below;

Brighten up a tired garden shed, bench or fence with a fresh coat of paint. Brave a dark colour like Farrow & Ball Off Black or Railings for a dramatic backdrop to greenery and summer florals.

    Add a few faux plants - sounds a little crazy in the middle of summer but we all know how high maintenance the real thing can be. As well as looking more realistic than ever, they don't need watering and your garden will look fab all year round!

      Outdoor rugs & cushions will soften your outdoor space and offer more comfort for those lazy summer evenings. Add a few colourful cushions to your outdoor seating and invest in some over sized floor cushions like our vibrant pink pompom pouf!

      Let's not forget it's Irish summers that we are talking about so on that note it's no harm in being prepared for those cool summer breezes with a cozy throw or two. Some of our oversized throws double as picnic blankets or simply to bask in the sun and daydream of more sunny days to come!

        Add a mirror to create an illusion of space in smaller gardens or to open up a drab corner and create a stylish focal point. We love how our Arch Window Mirror reflected the the beauty of the walled garden in Boyne Hill House.

          Go all out and accessorize with ornaments, lighting and lanterns. Choose decorative planters like our David Bust, set them on the ground and tables to add interest at different levels. Hang rattan style lights from trees or canopies and pop some outdoor fairy lights inside to create a magical ambiance. Our Amira lanterns will bring warm Moroccan style vibes to your outdoor dining while you enjoy summer cocktails on the patio.

            We hope you have been inspired to spruce up your outdoor space!
